Fees

  • The fees are £9.00 per session (as of April 2008).

  • Up to 5 sessions per week free for eligible grant holders.

Fees are payable until your child becomes eligible for the Nursery Education Grant.  All three-year-olds are eligible to receive this grant, entitling your child to up to five free sessions per week from the start of the term after their third birthday.  (Your child does not have to attend for five sessions per week, most 3 year olds start on 2/3 sessions, and the grant is claimed pro rata).

Fees are determined by the Management Committee, normally on an annual basis, with the new rates usually being applied from the commencement of the Summer Term.  The current charges are included on the enclosed Registration Form but parents should kindly note that fees may change subsequent to registration.

We regret it will not be possible to refund fees for absences of any kind.  To cancel a place 6 weeks written notice is required.

From time to time some parents find it difficult to pay fees on time.  Should you find yourself in such difficulties the Committee would encourage you to contact the Treasurer as soon as possible to talk over the problem in absolute confidence with a view to securing your childs place at the Nursery.

Registration

Download, complete and return a Registration Form to register your child to attend Ashridge Nursery.  There are two versions available, right-click and save the appropriate one: Microsoft® Word-compatible version or Rich Text Format (RTF) version for Microsoft® WordPad and other word processors.

Please note that Ashridge Nursery holds a waiting list, and parents are advised to register as near as possible to their child's second birthday.

A non-refundable administration fee of £20 is charged.  This includes a free Ashridge Nursery t-shirt when your child commences Nursery.

You will be notified as soon as possible when a place becomes available for your child.  Nursery sessions will be determined based on the availability of both sessions and Keyworkers, and, where possible, the parents preferences.  Parents will therefore understand the need to be flexible.

All new children will be invited to attend an Induction session at the beginning of the term in which they are due to join.
