You have arrived in the city of Thoqmaxar in the company of the Caliph of Agvhazar. Just before sunset, the flying carpet lands at the Embassy of the Caliphate, where you are to stop overnight as the guests of the Ambassador.
There is a small harem in the Embassy. If protocol is to be observed, the Caliph should sleep there. However, since it is empty, the Ambassador will not be offended if the Caliph chooses to sleep elsewhere. (The Caliph admits that, since he hasn't been Caliph for all that long, he doesn't have all that many wives and concubines as yet, and those he does have are all in the harem of his palace in Agvhazar.)
It is up to you to determine what security precautions, if any, you take. Male adventurers will not, of course, be allowed in the harem, but it's fine for female adventurers to enter and spend the night there, even if they don't want sex with the Caliph.
There will be a banquet in the evening. Again, it is up to you to determine what security precautions the Caliph should take.
Whatever security precautions you take, you aren't aware of anything extraordinary happening overnight, and in the morning you eat breakfast and then fly on to Agvhazar.
