You arrive at Agvhazar shortly after sunset. It is lucky that the Caliph knows the area well, as otherwise you might be in serious trouble. The Caliph lands the carpet on the top of what appears to be a gigantic pillar of rock. This is Agvhazar, he informs you. You gather that, contrary to whatever you might have been expecting, Agvhazar is in fact inside this gigantic pillar of rock. The Caliph's palace is at the top.
The Caliph retires for the night to his harem. Female characters may choose to accompany him there, and probably should. You are supposed to be bodyguards, aren't you?
Male characters may not enter the harem. The vizier will find accommodation for you. Do you trust the vizier enough to sleep where he puts you?
Regardless of any doubts you may have, you all wake up safe and sound the following morning.
How much longer you remain safe and sound (and, for that matter, alive) is entirely up to you. This is, essentially, a reverse adventure. In standard adventures, you go looking for trouble. In reverse adventures, trouble comes looking for you; your job is to prepare for it.
So make your preparations, and make them well, because trouble is on its way!
