JIKMJournal of Information and Knowledge Management (JIKM) is published by the Faculty of Information Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia since 2005. The objectives of JIKM is to promote exchange of information and knowledge in research work, new inventions and developments in information management and knowledge management and on the use of Information Technology towards the structuring of an information-rich society.The research tracks include but not limited to library science, artificial intelligence, communications and networking, information systems management information management, records management, library management and knowledge through scholarly publications.

CopyrightAuthorship All parties who have made a substantive contribution to the article should be listed as authors. Principal authorship, authorship order, and other publication credits should be based on the relative scientific or professional contributions of the individuals involved, regardless of their status. A student is usually listed as principal author on any multiple-authored publication that substantially derives from the student’s dissertation or thesis. EthicsJManuscripts may be rejected by the editorial office if it is felt that the work was not carried out within an ethical framework. Review ProcessJIKM is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. Journal attempts to convey the reviewer’s comments about the manuscripts to the authors within two months. As part of the submission process you will be asked to provide the names of suggested reviewers who could be called upon to review your manuscript. Recommended reviewers should be experts in their fields and should be able to provide an objective assessment of the manuscript. Please be aware of any conflicts of interest when recommending reviewers. Examples of conflicts of interest include (but are not limited to) the below: - The reviewer should have no prior knowledge of your submission Please note that the Editors are not obliged to invite any recommended/opposed reviewers to assess your manuscript.
Call for PapersWe welcome the submission of original full papers, advanced work in progress and policy papers, to include contributions based on robust empirical investigation(s), with solid theoretical underpinnings within any of the specific domains, and where possible building on a comprehensive body of literature, setting the agenda for future research. All papers will be reviewed by members of the editorial board and judged on rigour and relevance as well as their ability to enhance JIKM’s reputation. Representing a broad interdisciplinary field of Knowledge Management and Information Science, the coverage of JIKM extends to the area related to information management, library management, records and archives management, organizational resource management, knowledge assets and knowledge management systems.
