If you do not lose any units in Strategy Battle #2 [C2d], then you can win a Major Victory. This grants you Spoils of War.
Upon receiving the Major Victory, Louis suddenly asks "What's this?" Borus replies that it's the spoils of war, soemthing that happens when the enemry runs away in a flurry.
In this case, your spoils is an Evasion Ring. Other battles may reveal other prizes. However, this one was the only one with an extra "scene" to it.
