| Kaos looked to the red elf, not wholly surprised that she had made an appearance. "Nari, Jazon!" He said in a commanding tone, "You two take care of these. Akana! I suppose you will be wanting a bit of revenge for that, you come with me." He then approached the elf. "You must be the famous Gaia. We have heard much about you. It is undoubted that you have sensed the many spies watching you since your existence was made known to us? Well, today you meet one of your worst enemies. I am Kaos, second to Kiley and strongest of his followers! I will not fail in my mission!" With that he sent a bolt of energy from his fist, it appeared like a whip of black and purple lightning. He missed and said "This is but a trifle of my power, will you stay your ground against two of Kiley�s finest." Akana joined Kaos's side, anger exceptionally apparent on her face, as she glared at Gaia who listened to Kaos speak, then began to laugh. Akana let more anger grow apparent in her features as the red elf spoke. "You two.." Gaia shook her head sadly, "I don't fear any of Kiley's followers, nor anything else on this planet. If I so wished it.. I could level this city, including you and your group that has decided to attack these senshi and knights. I suggest you be the ones to leave." Juline reappeared next to a somewhat panicked Lantis, "What's wrong?" "A fight.. and Nevarra ran off.." Lantis explained to her as calmly as he could. Juline's eyes went wide, as she looked back to where she had come from. "She ran off.. with her father here... Damnit..." Juline breathed deeply, calming herself as best she could, "Help out the others at the docks, I need to find Nevarra," She then took off once again.. back towards the direction she came from as Lantis ran to the docks. Cristof began to curse when Juline disappeared. But soon he realized that he need not worry, his daughter and he would definitely meet before he left that city, or he would be killed. He soon began to search the streets, suddenly he saw someone in the shadows, "Ah, she has come to me." He thought to himself. "It is alright, Nevarra! I will not harm you!" He yelled to her because she was still far off. "Come to me my daughter. I wish to share with you many truths that you must wish to know." He said with loving sympathy in his voice. Firian stood, holding his sword arm which had fallen limp. "Drako�s Blessing." He said as his hand began to glow, his arm could now move more freely and he could wield his sword, but it was still temporarily crippled compared to the others. "She does not stand alone!!" He shouted at Kaos. "I will defend her with my last breath! You will not defeat us! Not today!" And with that he began to charge at Kaos. "You may very well possess the power, but you will not use it. Not with your precious senshi and knights around you, and all of the other innocent and defenseless people in the city." Kaos said to Gaia with cold amusement in his voice. "Besides, your power is limited and even if you defeated us, many other soldiers would come before you regain your strength. Eventually, you would be overcome." Just as he finished speaking he heard Firian�s words, he turned just as the knight of fire's blade came down. The blade swept across his chest, wounding him very badly. He fell to his knees holding the wound. "Foolish dragon!" Kaos yelled though clenched teeth, he then spit blood. "It takes more than that to stop me." He then lifted up into the air. "I have not been slain, but I must heal. Next time, Fire Knight, you will not have a chance for a luck strike!" with that he took to the skies. And headed toward Caverna. The Wraith Jazon Charged at Diris. "You were foolish to choose death." He then began to release a blinding fury of calculated and precise fists and slashes with his scythe, believing that she would be unable to keep up. Diris smiled as she dodged half of the fists and slashes from the guy. She screamed as the scythe slashed her side. She curled her hands in to fists and with all her weight, swing her fist hoping to hit the guy or thing. The demon child froze as she heard her name called. Nevarra glanced back in the direction her mother was in for a second, "I'm sorry mother..." whispered Nevarra to herself. The young demon brushed off her beautiful, yet childish in a twisted way, black dress which was now dusty from travel. "Please take care of her..." whispered Nevarra as the young demon stood up as straight as she could and walked towards her father. Obviously ignored, Nari floated off to a nearby area to await a challenge worth her time. She watched as her comrades fought, yet she was bored to death with inactivity. Hopefully, she would get a chance to prove herself creditable to Kiley's army. She just needed a contender. "I'll fight you as i have apparently been forgotten after that lightning attack." Airyu smirked as she came into view standing a few feet from Nari. "Besides we both could use the practice." She rather rudely joked, raising her eyebrows up in an amused expression. "Ahh, Child." Christof spoke to his daughter. " I knew that you would not be afraid. You have more sense than these others, knowing that your dark powers are meant for dark use. Though our cause is not wholly dark and evil. We wish only to bring a certain order, and a new kind of peace to Aria." He continued. "Now come with me, Nevarra. Come with me and we shall go to see your uncle and grandmother." He then held out his hand and waited for her to take it. Jazon laughed at her futile attempts to hit him, but he laughed to soon. Within a few moments she managed to hit him a few times and anger him. He reverted back to his true form but not for long as he then changed to his dragon form. He began to whip his tail, and released a huge and extremely hot fireball from his wretched bony mouth. Kaos was soon within Caverna, as he entered the black fortress of Kiley, he stumbled. He made it to his room soon, after he told a guard to go report to Kiley of his wound. And to make it clear that he was not defeated, but had to heal a bit as his other companions should be able to handle themselves. Firian's knees began to buckle, but he stood his ground and prepared to defend Gaia from Akuma, even if it meant giving his life. Gaia raced over to Diris, "Wall of Darkness!" She yelled quickly, as her shield went up against Jazon's attacks. Once they were finished, the shield disappeared out of sight. The red elf's exhaustion was a bit more noticeable than before... how she hated using her powers. "Are you and Sailor Diris alright?" Flamus yelled over to the two, Gaia nodding in silence. Kiley sat upon his throne, a guard rushing in and reporting all that Kaos had told him. The young demon sneered, a growl coming from his gauntlet, Akuma sharing her displeasement as well. "Enough of this.." He stood from his throne, his claws clicking against his regal chair. He turned, his back to the guard, as he walked slowly into the darkness... disappearing from sight. Juline stopped in the streets, looking around in a panic for Nevarra. Where was she?? God... Tears threatened the demon's eyes, as she fought them back, "Nevarra!" She yelled loudly, glancing around her once again. With no reply, she took off up the road once more. Diris glanced at Gaia hope she was ok. She glanced at her and turned to face Jazon in rage. She was ready to fight even if he had turned in to a dragon. She brought out her fan blades. "DayDream Slumber!" Diris yelled out as she let her attack lose on the dragon. |
