| Jazon brought a hideously, grotesque, skeletal talon up to is eyes to wipe the dust from his eyes, as that is where the attack hit. He began to curse but within seconds he was completely dazed, almost as if he were dead, his body fell to the ground and into waking sleep. The young demon girl walked to her father, gently placing her small hand on his. She turned suddenly, hearing her mother yelling her name. Nevarra silently stared at her mother, her eyes almost eerily looking right through Juline. The demon had a blank, emotionless look on her face as she faced her mother, her small hand was still resting on her father's hand. Nevarra looked very small and almost helpless standing in front of Cristof. Despite a slight wind, Nevarra's dress stayed completely still. Not a strand of the girl's beautiful purple hair moved either. Juline froze in her steps, staring silently at her daughter and Christof. After a moment, she spoke, "Nevarra.. sweetie.. come back to me.." The Council's demon representative tried to hide her distress with a warm smile, hoping it'd bring her daughter back to her. Akana cursed at Diris, her form starting to change into that of dragon. She heard air whishing about her head, as she turned to be smacked upside the head by Tidan's trident. She fell to the ground, unconscious, as the knight looked to the others. Gaia smiled to Diris, "Good job.." The elf regained her breath, "Make sure Airyu is alright.. since she's been fighting that ice witch as well." "I suggest.. that you all end your attack on my army," Kiley's voice echoed from the shadows of a building, as he stepped into the light. A sheath crossed over his back, his clawed gauntlets at his sides. "Hello, senshi and knights. I should properly introduce myself to all of you, I am Kiley Menden, your future executioner." Nari smirked at her advisory. Quickly flicking her wrist she pulled out diamond shards and flung them at Airyu. Diris smiles and turned to the field were the other knight and senshi were fighting and gentle blow the left over dust over them save some for Gaia. She turned to Gaia and blow gentle on the dust letting the rest of the dust fall on Gaia. Diris nodded to Gaia's command and ran over to Airyu. Jazon began to stir as he transformed to his human self. Still in a dream like state, but more aware of his surroundings due to Kiley's appearance at the battle. "My lord, I am surprised that you came here, but grateful. They have proved to be quite a bit stronger when defending the red one." Firian began to feel more rejuvenated when the dust hit him. His strength returning. He then turned to Kiley. "You should not have shown your face." He said to Kiley. "There are many of us who have a vendetta against you. And together we can beat you. Kaos learned that." "Why should she go back to you." Christof said to Juline. "You would not even tell her of her uncle and grandmother. Kiley, Akuma, and I will not hide what she should know, even if her perception of the world will be changed a bit." When he finished he then sensed something that made him jerk his head toward where Nevarra had come from. "Your uncle Kiley is here." Christof said to his daughter. "Shall we go see him?" He asked Juline. "Just get the whole family get together, have ourselves a little family reunion." Kaos stirred in his sleep, but soon woke. His wounds healed nearly completely within only a few hours. But the pure courage and emotion of Firian and his blade was still with him. He decided to return to the battle when his wounds healed some more. "He will pay, and we will destroy his friends as well." He said as he laid back down to sleep. Kiley heard Jazon's words, studying Firian and listening to his threat, "Jazon, if you're able to still fight, do so. Otherwise retreat, and allow me to finish this little.. game.. off." The bare-chested man stepped forward, reaching to the sheath over his back with a clawed hand. Bringing it before him, he smiled to Firian Knight, "You truly underestimate me then, boy." Kiley took both his clawed hands and withdrew two short swords from the single sheath, letting the sheath fall. It shimmered, then disappeared from sight a few inches before hitting the ground, "Perhaps I teach you all how pathetic you are before me." Gaia studied Kiley, glad to have had Diris rejuvenate her. This fight needed to end, now. Kiley looked considerably puny, too relaxed as well, but the red elf could sense the power to him. He wasn't joking about ending it all, here and now. Juline's eyes narrowed on Christof, "There won't be any reunions. Nevarra doesn't need to meet Akuma nor Kiley, they are no family of hers worthy of even being mentioned as a relation. And she doesn't need to get involved in any fight that is going on if Kiley has decided to finally show himself." "Ahh, but Juline, you see. He sent me here for the very purpose of retrieving our daughter, I was glad to accept this mission because it was something I wanted as well." Christof replied. "Do you actually think that he will leave without her, even if I fail. Bringing her to him could very well save the lives of your senshi and knights, but if you do not let her go it could cost the lives of many others who are not even a part of the fight you speak of." He continued. "Would you have innocent lives lost for no reason? Let us ask our daughter. Nevarra, will you go to him? Even if only to save the lives of many others?" "I am perfectly fine to fight." Jazon said. "Though these pests have proved to be quite the nuisance." He continued with open resentment at the way Kiley had replied to his greeting. "I was merely relieved that we would now rid ourselves of the senshi and knights." "I underestimate no one." Firian said with a smile. "I am well aware of your abilities, and of many that those of us here possess. But if the courage of people is gathered it will be enough to make the gods tremble with fear." He continued. "It is said in the history and legends of Aria that people of power have been overthrown by courageous people." "Tell Gaia I said good-bye," said Nevarra, her voice lacking any and all emotion, her meaning completely unreadable. The small girl took a step backwards, towards her father. Christof wrapped his coat around his daughter as he took to the skies toward Caverna. He bid Juline Farewell and stated how much he still loved her to himself when they were out of her hearing range. Then with much speed they took off toward Kileys' fortress. Small balls of fire emerged burning and twisting in Airyu's pale hands as the ice shards flew towards her. A single motion of her hands send the two flaming spheres towards Nari burning and melting some of the sharp diamond shaped objects with a single touch as their paths crossed. After throwing her own starter attack Airyu gracefully jumped and somersaulted out of the path of those that remained only being struck and grazed by a few. "Well that was rather spectacular..." She mocked. Diris smiled as she saw Airyu handle the problem herself. She was glad she did stay with this people instead of the others. This people know what they were doing unlike the other ones who obeyed this Kiley guy. She turned her attention to hear that annoying voice of the guy she just taken out. She was ready to fight this big lug any day. |
