| "Any reason why no one wanted to go into Sharnis..?" Lantis asked, breaking the silence between the small group who had decided to stay out of the Council's home. Akana continued walking, "Looks like a small group is outside of Sharnis, up ahead. We'll have to be careful if we wanna get through them," she suggested to the small group of Kiley's followers. Yasmine looked to Gaia and the group with her, then back to Juline and Kamui. She went over to Gaia, "I'll stick with all of you. I prefer to hunt down senshi and knights then listening to a team of people discuss how to run Aria.� Loki was glad to hear that he was allowed to go with them. He was especially glad that it was without a conflict. But he wondered about the woman�s smile. He slowly but confidently approached the group with a bit of a stride, and then spoke. "My name is Loki to those of you who do not know me. And I just wanted to help you all beat Kiley. Maybe some of you could tell me your names so that we can communicate better." he directed his request more toward Gaia whom he did not know yet. Then he stood and waited. As Loki emerged from the rock, introduced himself and generally conversed with everyone in the small group, Celes stood staring at him in shock and amazement. A slight blush ran across her face, *He has been looking for me...how sweet...* She then came to her senses and looked angry at him. "How dare you sneak around! What if we were fighting and you decided to turn up then? I could have killed you with one of my attacks!!" She then, just as suddenly went quiet. "Well, any of us could have..." Kamui smiled as he saw Loki join the group. He had sensed that the young man was behind them. Hearing Juline's words he turn to her "As you wish, that's fine with me. Thank you." He then heard Celes shouting at Loki. "Please excuse my daughter" He apologized to her, laughing at the typical behavior of Celes. Dandria sneaked a peek at the small group outside Sharnis and the surrounding area. "Looks pretty easy to sneak around without them noticing a thing...unless we take these ones out first? and then the others later.." Lisia was still fixing the devise she had made. Not looking from it she replied "There's the difficulty of starting any sort of conflict in Sharnis, what with the council situated there. It may be worth killing them off out here or at least give them a reason to move anywhere away from here. Oh and you should hurry up in making you're minds up as they may be more of them being signed up inside." She then looked at the group. "Celes, you are too much of a hot head. I can take care of myself, and you know well that I care deeply for yo...uh others." He said almost slipping and telling her his feelings for her which he was still unsure of. Then he turned to Kamui, still hoping that Celes hadn't caught his slip, and spoke, "Kamui, I know that she didn't mean it. I have known this family long enough to know she is just worried about me as I am her. That is why I had to come." "Hot head!?" Celes angrily questioned with her arms crossed tapping her foot on the ground. Then she heard the rest *He really.. cares for me* she thought as he stuttered. Calmly she added "Well you.. you shouldn't do that!" and then looked around at the quiet looking group. "Don't worry.. I'm not mad.." She didn't know what else to say and she was extremely embarrassed. Kamui had a big grin on his face. Being an old dragon, nothing ever missed his attention and had caught on to what Loki was saying or at least trying to say. "Don't worry young man." Tapping him on the shoulder. "I know all about it." And winked. "Little dragon, please calm yourself. You should have expected his arrival at some point." Looking at Celes. "You know all about what?" He questioned Kamui, pretending that he didn't know what the old Dragon was talking about. "I just want her to be safe, ..... well maybe it is a little more than that but I am still unsure. Could you keep this a secret until I am sure. I don't want her hurt emotionally if it turns out that I don't...well you know." He spoke nervously, almost as if he were still a teenager when he was now over a hundred. "Of course" Kamui answered. "What are old friends for. Now it's settled, your joining the group and as soon as Juline goes home and we've seen the council along with Gaia, the young lady over there by Celes shows the rest around and search for more recruits, we'll introduce you to the others." He happily explained. Phulan gave a shrug as she answered Lantis, "Sharnis sounds pretty boring." Settling herself down on the tree branch she leaned back against the trunk and closed her eyes "You see one big town...you've seen them all. At least out here I could get some rest." Ruman chuckled as he looked at the newcomer. Shaking his head he walked over to him with Kamui "I think we have time now. Anyway, I'll start. Name's Ruman Caliber." Pansha eyed the small group and gave a nod, "It looks easier this way. I'm with them Akana...what do you think? There's only what? Four of them there?" "Thanks Kamui. I appreciate it." Then a man approached and introduced himself as Ruman, Loki decided to return his kindness "I'm Loki, but you can call me Blaze if you like. So I heard some of you talking about senshi and knights. Mind telling me what they are and why they are so important?" Loki said with curiosity. Iviana cleared her throat. "Bad incident, bad memories." She said, looking at Kai, then to Lantis. "What�s your excuse?" Rinada sighed, stretching her wings out. She stood up, looking over Sharnis. *It's so boring here sometimes... I need to get out more.* Rinada thought, jumping into the air and flying over the city. Nevarra turned back to the window, watching for her mother. She didn't respond to Lilia and didn't seem to care that her mother was bringing people with her. While awaiting Akana to think the plan over, Lisia decided to test her new gadget. She walked over to Pansha, placed a small devise on her back and started to move around with a funny looking controller in her hand. After awhile she stopped and looked to Pansha and simply said "Move." Celes wondered what her father and Loki was talking about, but she didn't want to look too interested. *Argh! What's wrong with me? There's a perfectly cute guy, that you know well, right in front of you and you act like such a bitch. You never know he might actually like you back.* She thought as the others got to know Loki a bit more. "Yeah right.." She whispered to herself, looking at him. Loki stood with his arms crossed as he waited for someone to answer his question not really paying attention to them but instead he was left intrigued by the red elven woman and silently spoke to Kamui and Ruman, "Never mind my previous question. I would prefer to know who that woman is. She seems very peculiar and she seems to know something about everyone here, even me. At least that is the way that she acts. Is she always like that? It is sort of unsettling." He said the whole time staring at Gaia. |
