True love for Labrador Retrievers is the reason for Arclight's existence.  The Labrador Retriever's extraordinary qualities - wonderful temperament, bubbly personality, active and outgoing nature with that proud and intelligent bearing- inspired this site dedicated to our true and loyal friend.   Arclight's vision is to let other people experience the same fine qualities of the labrador retrievers.

Admittedly as beginners in the specialized field of breeding, we aim to eventually raise quality specimens of this exceptional breed.  Ensuring not only the right physical qualities but the proper social attributes as well, we hope that our labradors may, in the future, excel both in the showring and in your hearts as a lovable family pet.     Enjoy your visit to Arclight         How it started Arclight Labradors is a kennel owned by brothers Andre, Alvin, Arzel and Arney Lapus.  Our interest in dogs, mostly the mutt types, started when we were very young.  We cannot recall a time when we didn't have a pet dog in the house.  From crossbreds to dalmatians, basset hound and shih tzu, our affinity with "these other kinds" arouses so much passion. Then we set our sights on the labrador retriever.  After watching so many dog shows, reading books/reference materials and combing the internet, we got our first pet labrador early 1999.  We were hooked.  This was followed by a fine-pedigreed yellow labrador.  We were not disappointed for in this breed we found all the right qualities we look for in dogs.  We hope we can come close to producing the perfect labrador in our minds through the progenies of our Arclight Labradors.
