"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD,
make straight in the desert a highway for our God."     Isaiah 40:3   KJV
This prophecy was fulfilled in John the Baptist, but should we heed this admonition today?
It would seem that this warning is even more apropos in these Last Days....
Doctrines of Demons
(a must-read!)
1 Tim 4:1
Why start these pages with Bible Versions?  If our "Bibles" were guilty of  lies and omissions on/from their pages, where would we find truth?
2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (646) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Even if you're ABSOLUTELY sure that your Bible is the correct version, or that it doesn't matter, PLEASE read what one contributor to the NASV had to say about the "new" versions.
Dear Friends,

Please note that the definition of the Greek word "apostasia" includes a "defection from" or "forsaking" of the truth (
formerly held).  In talking to many people who profess to be Christians, it becomes painfully clear that the falling away of which Paul spoke seems to be rampant in these last days.

None of these pages are intended to prove anyone right or wrong, since we all hold so  tenaciously to our beliefs, but we need to ask ourselves, on what are those beliefs based?  Our hearts should want to be "right" with God, period.

Very little of the information found on these web pages is mine - there are others, who have already spent much time researching these issues, who profoundly witness to the truth. Unfortunately, there are mulitudes of teachers tickling the ears of their congregations, either knowingly or unknowingly, but the results will be the same for their flocks - eternal damnation.  Certainly it FEELS GOOD to believe  these apostate doctrines of men, but is it really worth it?  (I came out of the Catholic church - things just don't get much more apostate than that.)

Please, dear reader, open your Bible and read what God has to say to His church - that's YOU, not a building or denomination.  Please don't  base your beliefs on anything not actually confirmed in the Scriptures.  This means also, that we can't take one verse out of context and presume that God means more than He says - Rev 22:18, 19.  Please seek the truth.  Never forget that the father of lies, "your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"  1Pe 5:8   And remember Paul's words:  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.   2Co 11:3   Satan is THE MASTER of deception - we can only fight and overcome him through the truth found in God and His Word.

Ed Spurlin has written a thought-provoking article,
"Seeking Knowledge", (scroll down a bit on the page) which can help us to see just what our mindset is in our quest for knowledge and truth.

Gal 1:6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
G646
apostasia   ap-os-tas-ee'-ah
Feminine of the same as G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): - falling away, forsake.
