Any Waking Moment all began one night in February. After a long night of working together; Jim, Rob, and Chris picked up a case of beer and headed to Chris's house. The three had been talking about having a jamming session for a long while and that night seemed like a good night to let out their frustrations on a guitar.

Rob and Jim had been friends ever since they were young. They were searching to start a new band after their last had failed miserably. Jim and Chris started working together at a restaurant and Jim was constantly bugging Chris to come hang out and jam for a long time. Then Rob started working with them. After a week or so they all became pretty good friends from working together. Finally Rob convinced Chris to have a jam session with them.

After drinking the whole case, they finally started playing together. At first things seemed a little awkward, Then Chris started playing a part of song that he had trouble finding a singing pattern for. Once Rob started singing the pattern, Chris knew they had something. After that, they started writing lyrics for the song which would soon become "Picture Perfect". The three soon started practicing more often and writing alot more in a short amount of time. The only things missing now were a bassist and drummer.

Ryan Lansellotti kinda came in as a fluke. A long time friend of Chris's, Lance decided to tell Chris that he played bass
(even though Lance had not played for three years). This was an opportunity Lance did not want to pass up. Chris decided to have Lance come over and play for him so he could hear what Lance could bring to the table. It turned out that Lance was gold. Even after not playing for three years, Lance still had what it took. Now the only piece of the puzzle missing was a drummer.

At a concert in May, after Chris and Rob had almost gave up on a drummer, Rob accidentally ran into one of his old friends, Sean Brown, who used to be in a band with Rob. Rob inquired about Sean drumming for his new band. After talking for about 15 minutes Sean decided to come hear them play one day. After hearing the music, Sean was more than willing to drum. Now Any Waking Moment was complete.
They practiced for 2-3 months with all the songs Rob, Chris, and Jim had written.
Before the album was finished however, bass player Ryan was replaced by AJ.

They now have an E.P. out called "Waking Up in a Dream".
Music has never sounded so beautiful.
