The result of the test was returned. My score
was 75%,
Then, Marcus, next to me, got his result.
He watched it seriously, and his score was
75%, too.
Although he had been so depressed after the
test, the score is was same as mine!
"How was your test?" he asked me.
"same."
"what?"
"same, 75%"
"Really?!"
His face looked confused, as if he could
not decide that score was good or bad.
I had also a mixed feeling.
| 25.May.Fri. Cloudy then Sunny Good by, Marcus. |
Today's business class was meaningful to
me. It was a job interview.
The most difficult question was about a weak
point.
A Taiwanese man answered, "smoking habit."
Mark, the teacher, laughed. "It is a
good answer. When you answer about weak point,
humorous answer is better."
Yes, but not easy.
General class was debating. The theme was
"a 24 hours city."
London should be a 24 hours city like
Las
Vegas or not.
Now, Marcus and Suzanne leave London tomorrow.
I honestly miss them, especially for Marcus!
Marcus in center of the front.
I am left-side next to him.

| 26.May.Sat. Sunny Mamiko, and French man |
I went to Heathrow Airport to see my younger
sister, Mamiko, in the evening. She is going
to live in London by the end of August.
She chose another English school. Going to
different school will be better for us, regarding
English study.
She suddenly appeared in front of me at a
meeting place at terminal 2.
"Haven't you got many question from
an immigration officer?"
"Not really, I couldn't understand her,
then she gave up."
All right...Mamiko was just starting English,
she is a real beginner.
We boarded a tube to Laytonstone, where her
hostfamily lives.
Her hostfamily seemed calm and kind.
"please explain the house rule to Mamiko."
I asked them, and went home.
On the train, I was puzzled against Laytonstone;
it looks not so safe.
Suddenly, a man, who was sitting next
to
me, talked to me.
"Excuse me, do you have something
to
worry? Your face is so serious."
I was surprised. "oh, no, I was just
thinking about a little thing."
Then we talked for a while.
His name is Blithe, a French man. His job
is related to wine.
He has lived in London for seven years.
"First, I was going to stay only for
one year, but, one year more, one year more,
now seven years."
Finally, he had to get off.
"I want to talk with you more, but have
to get off. "
"Bye, it was nice to meet you."
really nice to meet you.
