Monday, sunny, Manicure removal
I bought a manicure removal at Boots
for
Mamiko.
When she opened it and used, what a
hell,
she spoiled!
Our room were full of bad smell.
We couldn't stay at the room.
Tuesday, cloudy then rainy
It began to rain during class.
Usually, English rain stops soon. It
often
rains but not continues for a long
time.
(That is the reason why British people bring
a small portable umbrella with them, I think.)
Yet, today's rain was unusual, didn't stop.
I waited at the tube station, and gave up.
I ran to home.
Wednesday, sunny and rainy, Kumako
In TOEFL class, Luis pick up my eraser.
Soon he handed it back to me, but some Japanese
characters were written in that. It was "KUMAKO",
a female name.
I couldn't help laughing.
"Who is Kumako?"
But he didn't answer.
Thursday, Sunny then rainy, Tube Penalty
My travel card expired yesterday, so I bought
a single ticket to go to school at Mile End
tube station.
I boarded the tube, arrived Holborn station,
and entered the ticket into the automatic
machine.
But, the machine didn't receive my ticket,
so that I couldn't go out. I repeated a few
times and got an idea.
"I must have bought a wrong ticket!"
In a terrible London tube, you can not pay
an additional cost if you get more further
than a ticket permitting; you have to pay a penalty, 11 pounds!!
I made up mind that I would go back to Mile
End station.
When I went back to Mile End, I told the
station officer, "Excuse me, I bought
a wrong ticket, and I'd like to change."
He checked my ticket carefully, "You
bought this ticket more than 30 minutes ago.
What were you doing?"
"Well, I got on a tube, but I noticed,
so I returned."
"Wow, you returned?! Anyway, you can
not change it, please buy a new ticket."
"Yes."
Compared with penalty, it was quite
easy
to buy a new ticket.
Friday, Farewell
Akira, a Japanese boy, and Hazel, a Taiwanese
girl, are leaving for their countries
tomorrow.
So tonight we had dinner together.
I often went out with Akira and Eriko, so
I feel sorry for his leaving.
I remembered many things as to him.
