Krystal Figueroa is a self-taught novice photographer who has dabbled in digital photography for the past three years with the use of her trusty 3.2 megapixel Canon PowerShot SD100. Over the course of the past three years, Krystal has amassed a large collection of photographs that illustrate a variety of subject matter, but she enjoys capturing images of people and nature in particular.
She has developed this website as a way of sharing her love of people, nature, and art in daily life (captured through the art of photography), as well as a way of promoting her abilities and sparking future interest in her photographic services. She would eventually like to upgrade to a higher quality camera and take courses to improve her photography skills and knowledge.
Krystal is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University, Orange County, full-time and hopes to eventually become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCSD in 2005. Her other artistic pursuits and interests include singing, writing, reading, drawing, and painting. Krystal takes the greatest enjoyment out of spending quality time with her loved ones: family, friends, boyfriend, and her dog, Jack. [Many of them are featured on this site!]
