- Quantum Logic Processor: Electronic Mach Zehnder Interferometer(MZI) based Devices
IIT Kharagpur and HBCSE,TIFR,Mumbai,India(www.hbcse.tifr.res.in)
Under the guidance of:
Prof.T.K.Bhattacharyya,E & ECE Department,IIT Kharagpur
Prof.Ajay Patwardhan,St. Xaviers College,Mumbai
- I have theoretically developed all the single qubit gates and double qubit gates on an
electronic MZI based system with electron spin as the primary qubit.
- Limited three qubit operation is also possible.
- Future work includes simulation and exploring possible fabrication methods. Also I
am striving to achieve the CNOT gate with the same control and target qubit i.e.
electron spin as this will reduce measurement problems.
Gate Leakage Current in nano-FET devices
E & ECE Department,IIT Kharagpur
Under the guidance of Prof. T.K.Bhattacharyya
- I am trying to identify features that would control gate leakage current. My emphasis
is not on materials with higher K value but on the physics of the phenomena. Possible
control factors have been identified.
- Future work includes simulation and studying the feasibility of the type of gate
dielectrics I am studying.
Development of novel device geometries with better scaling properties and lower leakage currents
E & ECE Department,IIT Kharagpur
Under the guidance of Prof. T.K.Bhattacharyya
- I have theoretically proved the feasibility of two novel devices with aforementioned
qualities. One of them involves resonant tunneling gate dielectrics. I have christened it
as MISISFET.
- I have begun exploring the practical feasibility for these devices
- Future work includes total feasibility report and testing for circuit performance.
Study of Thermal Characteristics of Power Integrated Circuits
University of California, Santa Cruz
Under the guidance of Prof Ali Shakouri
- The thermal characteristics of some ICs studied and thermal images created
- Previously unknown hot spots identified.
Modeling of a MEMS tunneling accelerometer
E & ECE Department,IIT Kharagpur
Under the guidance of Prof. T.K.Bhattacharyya
- I modeled the tunneling current in our tunneling accelerometer by incorporating the
uncertainty in electron energy.
Development ofNanocapillary based cooling soultions using TRIZ methods
Department of Electrical Engineering,IIT Mumbai
Under the guidance of Prof. P.R.Apte
- I have developed some cooling solutions for terraces based on nanocapillaries.
