Hello! My full name is Andrew Nawrot Rodenhiser. I am a 3D modeler, animator, and graphic designer from Merrimack, New Hampshire. I was born on July 3, 1998 in Nashua, New Hampshire. While my last name is German, I am more of Polish descent given that my mother was born and raised in Poland. My father has a mix of German, Italian, and English ancestry.
I graduated in September 2021 from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) with Summa Cum Laude along with a 4.0 GPA. It was then when I received my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a concentration in 3D Modeling and Animation. I was awarded the certificate of "Distinguished Scholar" by the Senior Vice President of SNHU in April 2022.
From October to December 2021, I served remotely as a graphic design intern for the Franco-American Centre® (FAC): a nonprofit organization located in Manchester, New Hampshire, that promotes French culture, language, and heritage. I animated two 3D videos of the FAC's characters Claude and Claudette: one that informs the viewer about Beaujolais Nouveau Day and promotes the FAC's Beaujolais Nouveau Fine-Dining Gala event and one that expresses Christmas traditions and promotes the FAC's various social media handles.
The following year, during the winter of early 2022, I worked remotely as an animation intern for Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation®: a nonprofit organization that teaches children how to live a happy and safe childhood, and animated four 2D virtual safety lessons for the organization. Since the late spring of 2022, I have been working remotely as an animation intern for the Childhood Cancer Society®: a nonprofit organization that helps children with cancer and their families with medical costs as well as provides free trips to Disney World and Universal Studios for these children and families. Particularly, I am one of the few interns who modeled a 3D version of their anthropomorphic teddy bear mascot Adventure Ted. I animate him engaging in social media trends and activities that are either pertinent to the time of year or related to CCS-organized events such as Adventure Ted's Theme Park Extravaganza. During this event, children with cancer participated in a massive scavenger hunt at the Disney theme parks in Orlando, Florida, looking for Ted by using clues that came with QR-coded animations sent to their iPhones. I signed up for and created a brief safari-themed animation in which Ted takes a snapshot of a giraffe. This animation was shown to the kids at the Animal Kingdom park.
In December 2022, I began creating and animating videos about autism to raise awareness and acceptance. I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome (now recategorized as level 1 autism spectrum disorder) when I was 9 years old.
Other interests and activities I enjoy besides creating animations are spending time with friends and family, watching movies and shows on Netflix, and working out at the gym.
