Moments to Cherish

My name is Melanie Nelsen. I have 8 children and have homeschool most at one point or another. I have always been a stay at home mom and I have loved it. But I also wanted to help my husband with finances and help with savings but of course with my children getting a job was not an option, but that is not something I would have changed then or now. So one I figured out how to turn Christmas ornaments into a business. I opened an etsy shop in 2015 and started selling Custom ornaments. They were made of wood with hangers glued to the top. It was very slow at first, just a few hundred every few months but It did start to grow. I started selling Magnets. They are just like the ornaments except they didn't have the hanger and they had a magnet glued to the back. They sold well so I made more options. I added photo cubs, they have a picture on all sides, each different, and keychains. But statues are one of my best sellers. People use them for anything from wedding cake toppers to trophies to presents to family members and friends to remember a trip or favorite moment. I have made hundreds, maybe even thousands of them. And I hope to make many more for people that will love and cherish those moments. In 2017 I moved And after that is when it really started to take off. Christmas time is always the busiest. I will make thousands in just two or three months. The rest of the year is a little slower. But still we make much more than we ever thought we could. We appreciate the support of friends, family, and people we meet every time they order. We hope to keep growing and giving to those that want what we have to share.
