Mesmeric is the meaning of invisible science or black magic that based at 21 June 1998, which the first time they has joined in the Black Metal association in Surabaya that is “Army of Darkness”. Initially they influenced by the bands like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir. By present the music concept “Javanesse Black Metal” that story about darkness, Exalted and the dark side of human self. The first personal structure are : Sandy (Vocal Growl), Anton (Vocal Scream), Andre (Guitar), Dimas (Bass), Garna (Drums). With the beginning the First time bring forward to show to the public in the event of “Army of Darkness I”, they are notes as the youngest bands group of Black Metal between lot of participants when all the personal is still in the lower secondary school (SMP). But after two years crossing, they are have been vacuum experiences enough of long time during one year at 2000. In 2001 Mesmeric come back with the new blood and concept. They back to spread around the darkness air and the personal change to : Ricky (Vocal Scream), Azmi (Guitar Melody), Buyung (Guitar Rhythm), Anton (Bass), Sandy (Drums). The concept also change to “Harmony Black Metal”. And they are active to examine the stages of darkness. Cause of the non-compatibility of concept and the other things, than they are changes much times until many personal formation. Mesmeric more steady when the formation changed in 2002, there are Sunlord (Vocal), Northwind (Guitar Melody), Artyrants (Guitar Rhythm), Blizzard (Bass), Tartanos (Drums). Whit this formation we often invited and believed as the invite and quest band. And able to produce the Promo Tape at 20 March 2001 are consist two songs, that is : “ Atrocious Warrior “ and “ Mesmeric “. These two songs also come into two of the Black Metal Compilations namely : “ Black Lightning “(Surabaya) and “ Black Sounds II “ (Jakarta). This success is complemented by born the first album the tittle is “ Atrocious Warrior “ at 17 January 2003 released by “ Black Herats Records “ (Surabaya). But in 2003, Artyrants (Guitar Rhythm) get out from the band, so the personal of Mesmeric until now come to : Sunlord : Vocal Scream Northwind : Guitar Blizzard : Bass Tartanos : Drums With this formation they are more solid and change their influence to : “ Immortal, Satyricon, Dissection, Behemoth, Emperor”. And they are steady to bringing out new music concept “ Ancient Harmony Barbaric Black Metal “ they lirics is story about the Ancient War of Barbarian, Legends/Ancient War Myths, and Darkness Warrior that will often torture the crying souls. In this 2003 the perform schedule of Mesmeric is more solid with tour in several cities to promotion their first album. Now they want to completed the Recording to new songs matter and they are ready to take outside The Second Album quickly out.………………………..

MESMERIC yang berarti Ilmu gaib atau Ilmu Hitam didirikan pada tahun 1998, dimana mereka tergabung dalam perkumpulan Black Metal di Surabaya yaitu ARMY OF DARKNESS. Pada awalnya mereka terinfluence dengan band-band macam : CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR. Dengan membawakan konsep musik " JAVANESSE BLACK METAL " yang menceritakan tentang " Kegelapan, Keagungan, dan sisi gelap dari diri manusia ". Susunan personel pertama yaitu : Sandy (Vocal Growl), Anton (Vocal Scream), Andre (Guitar), Dimas (Bass), Garna (Drum). Dengan mengawali penampilan yang pertamanya pada event " ARMY OF DARKNESS I " mereka tercatat sebagai grub band Black Metal termuda diantara puluhan peserta dimana saat itu personelnya masih SMP semua. Namun setelah dua tahun malang melintang mereka pernah mengalami kevakuman yang cukup lama selama satu tahun yaitu di tahun 2000. Di tahun 2001 Mesmeric kembali muncul dengan darah baru dan konsep baru. Mereka kembali menebarkan hawa-hawa kegelapan dan personel beralih menjadi : Ricky (Vocal Scream), Azmi (Guitar Melody), Buyung (Guitar Rhytme), Anton (Bass), Sandy (Drum). Konsep pun berganti menjadi " HARMONY BLACK METAL ". Dan mereka kembali aktif menjelajahi panggung-panggung kegelapan. Karena adanya ketidakcocokan konsep dan hal-hal yang lain maka mereka berganti-ganti sampai berkali- kali hingga beberapa formasi personel. MESMERIC bertambah mantap ketika FORMASI berubah di tahun 2002 yaitu Sunlord (Vocal), Northwind (Guitar Melody), Artyrants (Guitar Rhytme), Blizzard (Bass), Tartanos (Drums). Dengan formasi ini kita sering diundang dan dipercaya sebagai band undangan dan band tamu. Dan mampu menghasilkan Promo Tape tgl 20 Maret 2002 yang berisi dua lagu yaitu : ATROCIOUS WARRIOR dan MESMERIC. Dua lagu ini pun masuk dalam dua kompilasi Black Metal yaitu " BLACK LIGHTNING " (Surabaya) dan " BLACK SOUNDS II " (Jakarta). Sukses ini dilengkapi dengan lahirnya album pertama yang berjudul " ATROCIOUS WARRIOR " tgl 17 January 2003 yang dirilis oleh BLACK HEARTS RECORDS (Surabaya). Namun di tahun 2003, Artyrants (Guitar Rhytme) keluar dari band, sehingga personel MESMERIC sampai saat ini menjadi : Sunlord : Vocal Scream, Northwind : Guitar, Blizzard : Bass, Tartanos : Drums Dengan formasi ini mereka tampak jauh lebih solid dan merubah influence mereka pada " IMMORTAL, SATYRICON, DISSECTION, BEHEMOTH dan EMPEROR ". Dan mereka mantap untuk membawakan konsep musik " ANCIENT HARMONY BARBARIC BLACK METAL " yang liriknya menceritakan tentang Perang kuno yang barbar, Legenda-legenda/ Mitos Perang kuno, dan Satria Kegelapan yang akan selalu menyiksa semua jiwa yang merana. Dan saat ini mereka akan siap mengeluarkan SPLIT ALBUM dengan band Luar Kota dan rencana mengeluarkan Album Kedua.
