Friday, 25 March 2005 - Honey Harbour

i'm sitting on the deck of the delawanna inn watching the porpoises play among the ice floes, as I compose this greeting on my cell phone which doubles as a universal translator, (which is pretty handy, as last week it enabled me to bring about world peace -- i'm off to stockholm next week to pick up my nobel prize).

ahhh, here is my banana dacquiri. one moment please.... that's better.

because it's good friday, the renowned honey harbour public library is closed -- that's okay cuz i think i left my library card at home anyways -- the friendly people at the honey harbour cafe served me a steaming x-large coffee to thaw me out. they then directed me on a tour of honey harbour which took all of three and one-half minutes and concluded with roast beef and lobster at the delawanna inn.

later... the ride to honey harbour and back was uneventful apart from wiping out twice on the piles of sand left on the side of the road. also, i can't understand the physics how the trip is uphill and against the wind both ways.

wish you were here
