Bettian League of Ice Hockey Professionals

Season One Review

Gabalfa's own Butetown Battlers have been crowned Bettia's first ever ice hockey champions, after comfortably winning the league by four points. Their star centre, Bettian international Ikrima Thruxton finished as the league's top scorer, found the back of the net on 29 occasions.

Bringing in the leading pack were the Ceffinton Rams and Gabalfa Blades, who each finished one point ahead of the Sukatra Sultans. After that, a massive gulf in class can be seen with seven points separating them from the rest of the league.

Claiming the unwanted wooden spoon are the Grappenhall Masters who, despite a promising start, tailed off badly towards the end of the season. Barely keeping above them were the Akani Sands Sharks, who avoided the humiliation of finishing bottom by beating their fellow strugglers on the last day of the season.
