Updates 2002

14 September 2002

Thanks to Mellissa for sending me this picture of Nine Lives from a newspaper.

3 September 2002

The official site has announced some details about Amelia's new movie project called Love's Brother. Head over to www.ameliawarner.com. Thanks to Marve for the alert. There's also some more Nine Lives reviews to be found in the guestbook there.

29 August 2002

I've just noticed a review posted for Amelia's new movie Nine Lives over on the IMDB. It got me searching and it would appear the movie was shown at the "FrightFest" film festival.

Here's a page about it on the FrightFest web site. ("The world premiere of Andrew Green's feature debut Nine Lives that will only have been completed two days before we screen it.") This picture was at the bottom of the page. Sure looks like our gal Amelia to me!

15 June 2002

Just letting y'all know that Steve has updated www.ameliawarner.com and given it a new look.

28 May 2002

Bit of a stop-press update thingie. Amelia is on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow afternoon. Here's the blurb off the BBC site...

14:15 Afternoon Play
Mountaineering By Nick Warburton

Jan Woodhouse [Our Amelia] has a life-threatening allergy, but not as life-threatening as her hobby, which takes her to head-spinning elevations from which her physician Dr Burns and her father Trevor, both amateurs at altitude, set out to rescue her.

So now you know. I'll be at work... Thank's to Steve from the official site.

22 May 2002

Here's the plot description for Nine Lives from the imdb... "Nine friends are stranded in an isolated Scottish manor house when a centuries-old spirit is unleashed. Only one will survive."

20 May 2002

Great Amelia-shaped news... The Internet Movie Database is listing a new movie for Amelia called called Nine Lives. Last week I was told that a new Amelia movie was reported on UK Sky TV so I assume it's the same thing. I *think* it will be a horror type movie, but I could be wrong. In any case it's nice to hear.

18 January 2002

Zoe who runs www.richardcoyle.co.uk (Richard was Amelia's co-star in Lorna Doone) got in touch to tell me about some promo shots in her gallery. I have pinched same photos and added them to my photo gallery. :))

2 January 2002

I figured that after a year online this site deserved a name other than "Amelia Warner". I've finally chosen "In Appreciation of Amelia Warner" for no other reason than it's all I could come up with. I've thrown together a new logo and done a slight redesign to this front page. All of last year's news can now be found on a separate updates page.

Unfortunately we didn't get any new Amelia TV or movies during 2001. Hopefully there will be some new projects in the future and as soon as I find something I'll add it to the page.

In the meantime I've added a scan of an Amelia picture from the November tabloid newspaper story.
