You don't start an office store without experience in a office.
Uncle John worked in an office as an underwriter for 20 years, and was in pain. (I know, a lot of us would probably be in pain as an underwriter after a few minutes, let's be real here. Bear with me though.) After the first 5 years, he decided he couldn't take it anymore. The pain wasn't so much the job, more the tools he was using to do it. The large tools. Uncle John's desk was just a little too high and his chair a little too uncomfortable. The backrest was just a little too stiff and the customer chairs... well let's just say his clients didn't get the impression that they were valued right off the bat.
After dealing with the pain for so long, Uncle John went looking. He found a stand up desk so that when he got sick of sitting, he could stand and refocus. He found a chair that looked comfortable, would rise to the right height, and make sure that disks in his back wouldn't be a concern 20 years down the line. The only problem? The price was exorbiant and there was no way to actually test the products to make sure they would work for him! It's really tough to spend money on furniture in the first place, even more so if you can't actually try before you buy!
Uncle John's retirement brought a desire to stay active, and what better way to stay active than to make sure those that followed him would never have the dilemma he did! His store boasts a showroom full of office equipment: chairs, desks... you name it, you can try it! More than that, we understand the demands many companies put on their workers. We offer a one week trial of any equipment! You can pay 5% of the price of any of our furniture options to have it delivered and assembled for you to use in your office space. If at the end of the week you do not like it, we'll come pick it up no questions asked. If you do like it, you're welcome to keep it and the 5% initial renting cost comes off the bill!
If we stopped there, well we wouldn't be much different than any other retailers right? Well good thing we didn't, because we also offer an on demand stocking system. Contact us if you see an item you like from any retailer. We'll get it in stock for you, and even offer the same 5% rent to own system we do with our regular baseline stock! This truly allows you to customize your office and make sure it becomes as comfy as you imagine that vacation home you're saving up for will be!

It's important to make sure the problem is tackled as fast as possible.
For this Final Project for IT270, I decided to go with an office furniture store and a background that looked like woodgrain, as if you were looking at an office desk. The intent for the website was to give people a quick look into the world of office furniture with some unique options they would discover upon reading the About page. I kept the website colors and banner in the modern theme of black, white and red with the aforementioned woodgrain. The design of the pages was kept in a list format so that potential customers would be able to quickly browse the list without too many redirects to see what furniture was currently available. In the future, the webpage could possible have pages added for each model year of furniture that is available, and a search function to filter by type, such as desk or shelf. There could also be a page for people to follow trends in the industry related to increasing productivity through ergonomic office furniture, possibly adding a review of certain furniture pieces with a video accompanying each review highlighting the new piece of furniture and why it would be a great addition to any office space.
