Arturia Pendragon, Queen of Briton
Arturia is the reincarnation of King Arthur, born to bring the people of Briton back from the hell that humans have created for themselves. Her mother, Igrane, hates her as does her sister Morgan. Her nephew Gawain, however, adores her. After a rocky start to establish herself as Queen of Briton, she was faced with a great foe in that of the great king Gilgamesh, who, angry for being jilted, raised a war against all of the British countries; Briton, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Her general demeanor is very cold and stoic, however, she has a very warm heart burning beneath the surface that comes out only very rarely when something moves the heart to life. She has interest in the great hero Cuchulainn for marriage prospects, but has yet to actually meet him.
Cuchulainn, Hound of Ulster, Hero of Ireland
Originally born Setanta, Cuchulainn earned his name by becoming the "guard hound" for the smith Culainn. Born in the capital city of Ireland, Ulster, Cuchulainn grew up knowing one day he would be a great hero. His wife Emer is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, yet he falls for other women outside of her anyway. One woman routinely gets his attention that he has yet to actually meet, for his meetings are usually interrupted. He came to the Queen of Briton's aid when she pleaded with him for it and now has become an even greater hero among not only his own land of Ireland, but of Scotland, Wales and Briton as well.
Donovan Elric, Death
Donovan is the son of Alphonse and Avalon Elric. Born a seer, like his mother, he has to stay away from most people or else he will be flooded with their memories in very painful ways. His wife, Alana, is his father's grand neice's daughter and only one of several children from her father, Tom Riddle. He is the personification of Death, one of the four horsemen of the appocalypse and nearly had to do this duty until things were set right once again. He doesn't refer to any God, but he does called Him the Creator and ask for his power of life only when he is truely desperate for it. He is generally very stoic, but has been known to make odd jokes and play a Nintendo 64 in his "world of judgement" when he's not busy ushering souls.
Merlin
Born from the wishes of the faeries for a wizard to champion them against the humans who refused to believe their existance still, Merlin came from a wizarding mother and a muggle father. His power is very strong, almost to the same strength as Tom Riddle, however, Tom is far stronger than anything Merlin has ever seen. Merlin grew up in the usual manner for a wizard and went to Hogwarts when it was his time to do so. He has a deep fondness for history and thus grew very attached to his history professor in school, Astra Malfoy-Elric. He had heard the prophecies made about King Arthur returning in his lifetime and set out to find the one who would be King Arthur, for he knew he was the Merlin of the old legends reborn. He found Uther Pendragon and helped him have his way with the Lady Igrane, which produced Arturia. When Igrane wouldn't have anything to do with Arturia, he took her in as his student and brought her up to be a king. When she took the throne, it was a grand moment for him, however, he had a feeling that many bad things might occur during her reign and still has problems trying to keep her from acting selfishly or really feeling anything for others.
Gilgamesh, King of Babylon
Gilgamesh was once the king of Babylon back thousands and thousands of years. Millennia have passed since he was last king before he disappeared. Now, he has come back and taken over the area of Babylon once more. He killed the king and took over as king once more, singlehandedly. The tribes were scattered before he made himself king and brought the tribes together. He has many wives, all of whom had been given to him as a sort of gift to go with the package of being King. Most of them he dislikes greatly, but mostly doesn't care about them. The only woman who gains his attention is
Arturia Pendragon and when she jilts him, he comes back to exact revenge on her and her entire country and the countries surrounding her country, resulting the greatest battle to date in Briton, Welsh, Irish and Scottish history.
Emer, wife of Cuchulainn
She was the one chosen by
Cuchulainn to be his wife. Cuchulainn was being pressed to marry a woman and he fell for Emer at first sight. Emer is a sweet young woman with long violet hair and pretty eyes that possesses an almost ehtereal beauty that outshines many of Cuchulainn's lovers. She doesn't have too much of a problem with Cuchulainn taking so many lovers when he's away from her, however, he doesn't usually claim marriage to them either. There is only one woman who is truely jealous to the point of murder of Emer and that is Arturia Pendragon.
Conochbar, King of Ireland
Conochbar is the king of Ireland. He lives in the capital, Ulster, where he reigns with his wife. He was one of a few who fostered Cuchulainn when he was a child. His step-father, Fergus Mac Roich, was king before him and he took the rule away from him by being a better king than he with the help of his mother. As a result of this and a few other things, Fergus has turned his back on Ulster and gone off with his band of rebels. Conochbar first meets Arturia when she invites all the countries to come and see her coronation. He is very fond of Arturia, but finds her very cold and not really trustworthy.
Sir Bedivere, Bedwyr
Sir Bedivere is the first of Arturia's knights to become a knight. He offers to stay by her side until he proves himself worthy to be one of her knights when he first tells her he will join her. He is awed by Arturia for her skill and ability to rally her people and her cleverness in planning out tactical situations.
Sir Gawain of Cannick
Gawain is one of several brothers, his mother being Morgan, Arturia's sister. Morgan hates her sister with a passion and Gawain sees this. It took convicing his father Lot to tell him and his brothers about their long lost aunt Arturia, who had been taken away by Merlin when she was a very little girl to foster. He is the second to join Arturia on her quest and is quick to temper and impulsive, however, he has a good heart and is very loyal to his aunt, though he does have a small crush on her. Because she is so much shorter and younger than him, he has trouble calling her aunt and calls her "cousin" instead.
Fergus Mac Roich
Fergus was once king of Iredland before his step-son took over as king. As a result of the rather underhanded nature of the take over, Fergus still doesn't generally speak a great deal to his step-son except upon occassion. Fergus is known for having many lovers and has taken Maeve of Connacht as his lover. Fergus is also one of the several people who fostered Cuchulainn.
Mei
Mei was given to Gilgamesh to be one of his wives as a sort of present from the Chinese emperor. She comes from a noble family and was brought up in the ways of assassins. She uses small knives to achieve her kills, keeping them all over her body, but her most noticable placement is on the insides of her forearms, which have strange spring loaded contraptions strapped to them that hold blades in them. Mei is one of the most loyal to Gilgamesh, for he is very handsome and has entranced her with his bold nature and fair features. However, Gilgamesh doesn't notice her for she tends to somehow keep herself hidden from view as she watches from the outside. She is a clever woman with a rather cold demeanor, using her fan or her sleeve to hide her face as she gazes boredly at people from across the hallway. Her eyes are gold and her hair is pitch black, usually held up in rather strange hair styles and demands silk for her dresses often.
Asma, daughter of King Ghazi, former princess of the area of Babylon
Asma was born to the land she rules now beside her husband Gilgamesh. She was given to Gilgamesh after he killed her father as a sort of coronation gift and spent two days keeping him from her chambers while her 'sisters' let him have his way with them. She is a woman brought up in the old ways, but has been allowed to be more free than the poorer women she reigns over. She has a deep anger toward Gilgamesh and grew frightened he might hurt her when she finally allowed him to bed her. She has one child by him, a daughter, named Imani.
Fathia, daughter of Adnan, merchant trader's daughter
Fathia is a gentle hearted woman who is very shy and has been brow beaten since she was a small girl. Her mother is Spanish and her father a fanatic of the old ways. She was terrified of Gilgamesh when he took over and was even more terrified of him when her father forced her to marry the man. She was even more terrified still when Gilgamesh came to her bed. She is the polar opposite of Asma in personality as well in appearance. While Asma is tanned, Fathia is pale. Where Asma has lighter hair, Fathia has black hair. Where Asma has pale eyes, Fathia has dark. She has one child by Gilgamesh, a daughter, Jalila.
Emiya Shirou
Emiya was a slave to a villager in Camelot. His past is mysterious as is his origins, for he looks like a crossbreed between a causcasian and an asian. He is a quick learner and a hard worker, however, he becomes very frightened very quickly. He is a wizard, though he has not had any real training in any school. He uses his magic, instead, to perform a sort of alchemy without transmution circles by creating things from his imagination, called imaging. He is very taken by Arturia, though she frightens him greatly.
Lady Morgan
Born to Lady Igrane with her husband, Mogan grew up without a care. Then, Merlin helped Uther take Lady Igrane to bed and conceived Arturia. When Arturia was born, Igrane would have nothing to do with the child. She would have to be shoved and begged to do things for the child to keep her alive. Morgan, since childhood, has also hated Arturia, for she is a reminder of the awful man who took her mother and forced this child upon them and now Arturia has the throne, something she wants for herself. She is a very skilled witch and keeps her wand on her at all times. She has been up to very odd things as of late, however, plotting things and scheming Arturia's downfall.
Alana Elric, Rage
The daughter of Tom Riddle and Amber Weasley-Riddle. She is the personification of Rage. She loves her husband Donovan dearly, but it took a great leap of faith on her part to choose him when she was younger, for he was so terrified of what others would think of her marrying her cousin. She is generally very warm to people, but doesn't take crap from people. She doesn't often show, but when she does, it is with Donovan, for they are hardly ever without each other.
Amber Weasley-Riddle, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts and Professor of Alchemy
Born from one of Edward Elric's sons from his wife Winry, Amber is Edward's granddaughter. She is almost the spitting image of him, much to her dismay; she is very short and has shoulder-length blonde hair and amber eyes, hence her name. She is also Truth, who resides inside her like a parasite, coming out as Pride when she can't keep Pride from coming out while the Gate of Truth is opened. This often results in a very destructive being that likes to torment anything in its path. Because of this, she hates summoning the gate, but does so when it's necessary. She is married to the headmaster, Tom Marvolo Riddle, and another man, Fred Weasley. She is the professor of Alchemy and has been teaching at Hogwarts since the great Harry Potter left to fight Voldemort, taking over her grandfather's position when she was old enough to. Used to be known as the "Flat-chested Alchemist" growing up. She and Astra are jokingly referred to as "breeders" because she and Astra have been living so long that both of them have lost track of the number of generations that they have passed their genes onto.
Astra Knight Malfoy-Elric, Former Headmistress and Deputy Headmistress, Professor of History and English/Literature
Astra is a bit of a Nazi when it comes to children knowing history of both magic and the world as well as semi-proper English and Literature. She is American, hailing from Central Texas, and came to England because she had to change schools in her fifth year. She married Draco Malfoy after their seventh year and raised several of his children, though one of them was driven insane by his grandparents as retribution against Astra for marrying into the family. Her family is a fairly strong wizard family, as pure blood as Americans can be, but her father married an elf he found in the forests of the Netherlands and produced Astra and her sister Avalon. After the war, she started pulling her maiden name out and letting her children choose to use it or not, for she and Avalon were the only wizarding Knights left. She has long white hair and her skin is very pale and her ears are pointy and somewhat long, however, despite the fact that she is tall, she is also very big and broadshouldered and busty. She is a former Auror. She is married to Draco Malfoy, Hohenheim Elric and Edward Elric. She and Amber are known as "breeders" since they have been living for practically forever and have produced several children that now populate the wizarding world and human world.
