The effect of combined laser and electropuncture on the bioelectrical
potentials and skin temperature of patients with gastroesophageal reflux

Biophysical processes were studied in biologically active points by
recording bioelectrical potentials and skin temperature under exposure to a
combined laser- and electropuncture. Use of laser- and electropuncture
combined in treatment of patients with gastroesophageal reflux may have a
positive effect on their skin bioelectrical potentials and condition of
thermoregulation. Changes in biopotentials and skin temperature can provide
an index of the functional state of the vegetative nervous system.
