ANICTERIC VIRUS HEPATITIS CURED BY ACUPUNCTURE

We have got some curative effect by using acupuncture and moxibustion to treat 32 cases of anicteric virus hepatitis since 1979, in which A type is 10 cases and B type is 22 cases.

The method of observation with the method of examination upon the liver function, combined with the clinical symptoms and the change of the character of the body, a comparative observation was made before and after treatment. A contraction was carried out while the hepatitis patients of B type should be examined on the surface antigen (HAA) of hepatitis of B type or coordinated antigen (HBsAG) to make sure which was positive or negative.

Method of treatment: Points such as Yanglingquan, Ganshu, Danshu, Sanyinjiao, Qu-chi Zhigou, Zusanii, etc, were selected, in which one or two were chosen to make the process of operation according to the device in the book "New Acupuncture and Moxibustion" written by Zhulian, once daily and 10 treatments were taken as a course.

The result of curative effect: 32 cases of hepatitis patients were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion. Among the 10 cases of hepatitis of A type, 4 were cured completely, 5 significantly effective and one on the mend. Among the 22 cases of hepatitis of B type 4 were cured completely, 2 significantly effective and 12 on the mend, and 4 negligible.
