When To Receive What You Asked

Anything that you asked God for is given to you not in your time but in God's time. Wait a minute, it was He who created time and God can never be subject to the effect of time. I was supposed to say that God gives the something you asked at His pleasure but no, God can do all things at all times. So let's settle for this: God gives you the thing you asked for when you are ready to receive it. Ok?

Just A Thought

In my own life i have let too many opportunities to pass and i regret each and every one of them. Still, the universe will not stop giving away these moments for me to claim my own greatness. so from now on, let me choose any one of these and see what contribution I could make to make the world a better place than when i came here and was given this human experience.

I Am A Writer

I am a writer. A lot of people can write but only a writer can raise writing to the level of an art. Writers are difficult to find. Only another writer can say whether one is truly a writer or not. Writers have a way of knowing another writer, a process that sometimes is difficult to explain. Non-writers distinguish themselves from writers by saying that writers write from the heart. That is the best way of explaining this to you, if you're a non-writer.

What Is The True Measure Of A Man?

A man's true worth is measured by the size of his personal assets. I know what you're thinking but I must point out that it is not in how tall, dark and handsome he is, nor it is on the size of his penis. In my opinion, the true measure of a man's worth lies in the vastness of his outlook, the depth of his understanding of the human nature, the fullness of his courage, the length of his patience, the broadness of his smile, the power of his eyes, the strength of his character. I don't think it is measured by how large and beautiful his house is, nor in how fancy the car he drives is, or how high in the organizational ladder he has climbed. I think that his true worth can be found in the intensity of the emotional experience he gives to a woman, how skillfully he drives her excitement up the ceiling, how painfully his loss will be for his loved ones. It is shown by how deep he cares for his children and the people they love. It is seen on how high he regards himself, how fully he appreciates his own limitations, how sincere he is in dealing with others. It is known by how much love he has in his heart and by it how much he touches other people's lives.

Follow Your Heart

Which is more important, what other people say or my own happiness? I think my own happiness is more important, therefore I should follow where my heart leads me. Now I may make a terrible mistake, I don't care as long as I allowed my heart to explore what possibilities may lie ahead. AS long as I follow what my heart says, I will never get lost because my heart knows what it is looking for and unless I make a move to follow what it says, I will never find out. The road to happiness is littered with decaying could have beens. Only those who have the courage to go for what the heart longs for inevitably find what they are looking for. My opinion only for what it's worth...

Some Thoughts

Openness and acceptance are keys to lasting relationships. Mental issues are like heavy baggage that you have to constantly drag making your life miserable. Letting go and forgiving gives you inner peace and strength to face life's many trials. Sometimes reality becomes stranger than fiction and time helps in accepting the unacceptable. Trust your instinct and follow what is says for it will prove to be the right thing to do. What is a jewel when it comes to falling in love? A fearless heart, one that is unafraid to fail, one that is willing to bet on that love and lose. If you find it, catch it for it may never pass your way again.

The Three Unmistakable Signs That You're Getting Old

I have to admit that I am past the age of fifty and slowly but surely going to the so-called twilight years. I have since begun to notice major changes in the way I act and think. And so here are the three unmistakable signs that I noticed that made me realized that indeed I am getting old. The first is loss of memory or forgetfulness. The second two I have forgotten, ha ha ha ha....

The Voice Has It

Of all the qualities that a woman can have, what I like best is a beautiful voice. I want her voice to be full and melodious and the pitch should neither be too low or too high. Her diction must be excellent, that is, the words must come from her mouth as clear and distinct as they should be whole. I like her laughter to be naturally crisp and unpretentious and she should know how to giggle when she is having fun. Her whisper must be sweet and smooth like a light breeze that tingles the skin. Combine the above with a beautiful face and a cheerful disposition and I am hooked. Attach that face to a medium built body and a smoothly natural skin and now she's perfect. Give her a nice curve from waist to hip and now I'm crazy for her. And if that face features a deep and expressive pair of eyes, then I'm totally out of control now. Take me home babe, I'm yours....
