Caribe Club Princess VIP
Feb 2005
The view from our 3rd floor room was what dreams are made of! It was the perfect spot for morning coffee and also for after dinnner drinks! The 3rd floor was a bit of a climb but for this view it was well worth it!
For breakfast there was the open air buffet situated right behind our building. (below)
For lunch there was the buffet, the 2 beach bars/restaurants, or the caperie. All were close to the beach and pool!
The beach restaurant (at right) became the seafood 'pay' restaurnat at night.
The buffet restaurant was nicely laid out with sitting areas or each side of both the Caribe and Tropical entrances. One side was smoking the other not! The food stations were in behind the table areas, right in between the Caribe and Tropical sections. You were free to sit wherever.
Although the resort was quite large with 2 resorts together, nothing for us was far away. The grounds were well laid out and it was easy to find our way around. The Caribe rooms were situated in 3 long buildings 3 stories high, with the pools, bars, restaurants in between. What had been the Tropical lobby had been turned into a very nice spa. Even though nothing was too far away, except maybe the lobby, there was a small 'train' you could use to get around.
The Caribe side A la Cartes, Chinese, Italian, Mexican and La Cava, were nicely set up in a row with patio tables and chairs along the walkway. These restaurants eavn had their menus posted outside for you to check out.The buffet was just off to the right and the Seafood restaurant was down by the beach. The Dominican and Brazilian a la Cartes were on the Tropical side just the other side of the buffet.
Our room as I said was on the 3rd floor over looking the beach and ocean. As you can see in this picture we were almost right on the beach. We just came down the stairs and down the hallway and right out unto the beach. Or in the morning we went the other way through the building and into the buffet. We were in the perfect spot!
As you can also see there were always empty loungers available almost anytime of day.
