J.C. grinned in spite of himself. "Yeah," he said, pulling Leigh closer to him. Leigh smiled and turned red.
Justin couldn't help himself, and blurted out, "Again?"
J.C. gave Justin a Shut Up Now Or I Will Kill You Look, but replied, "Yeah, again. This time it's gonna work, neither of us are going anywhere, this time it's gonna work."
J.C. knew about how Justin still liked Hayleigh. But so did J.C. Justin was constantly complaining how much he missed her, how much he wanted to be with her, how much he needed her by his side. And J.C. always listened. But what Justin didn't know was that J.C. was going through his own personal hell when Hayleigh moved to New York City. He wanted to be with her so much, it physically hurt him. He didn't go anywhere without her picture in his wallet, he was constantly thinking about her. The only difference between him and Justin was the fact that J.C. was far less vocal about his feelings for Hayleigh. He said his feelings when they meant something, when Hayleigh was there to hear him. Justin just went on and on about her when she wasn't there to hear him. And when she was there to hear him, he would keep quiet and wouldn't say a word to her unless she said something to him.

~At Pleasure Island (A.N. Remember, you can get into Pleasure Island after 7PM if you have someone over 18 there with you if you are underage, that's why Justin is there.)
The group was having a great time. Hayleigh wasn't plastered to J.C.'s side all night, she was dancing with the rest of the guys, Lance included, when Danielle danced with J.C. Leigh was dancing with Justin and having a great time when Britney Spears showed up in search of her boyfriend. Whom she found in the arms of her sworn enemy.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" Britney yelled at Leigh.
Leigh was taken by surprise with Britney's comment. But she was slightly tipsy, so she gave her a slightly smartass answer. "Dancing with a cute guy, that's what I'm doing."
Leigh's comment nearly sent Britney over the edge. But then she noticed thta Justin was hanging onto Hayleigh like she was his last drop of water in a desert. "And what the hell do you thing you are doing, Justy?"
"I'm dancing with my friend. What are you doing here? You were supposed to be getting your 'beauty sleep.' "
"I was, but then I decided I better go and check on you. And I'm damn lucky I got here when I did, otherwise you'd forget all about me, now wouldn't you?" Before she gave Justin or Hayleigh a chance to answer, she continued. "Well, you don't have to forget about me, I'm here now. Justin, let's dance," she said, throwing herself in between Justin and Leigh.
Leigh just shrugged her shoulders, and was turned around by J.C. He said something into Leigh's ear, then she nodded and smiled. J.C. smiled back, and turned to Justin and Britney. "Just, we're gonna get outta here. Oh, hi Britney, I didn't see you come in."
Britney decided to stick her nose into J.C.'s love life. "Are you two dating?" Britney asked, letting go of Justin and turning to J.C.
"Uhh, yeah, we are. Why do you ask?" J.C. asked Britney.
"No reason," Britney smirked as she grabbed onto Justin's neck again. "Have fun at home, J.C.!" Britney said, making Justin cringe.
"Oh, he will, trust me Britters, he will," Hayleigh said, pulling J.C. toward the exit.

"Oh, God, Leigh, I love you so much," J.C. said as he pulled Leigh closer to him in the bed.
"I love you too," Leigh said as she closed her eyes.
"Whatever happened to us before is not going to happen again," J.C. said, putting his arms around Leigh.
"No, it won't."
"No, it won't, because I want you to go on tour with us in six months," J.C. said.
"You want me to do what? J.C., are you sure you want me with you for two months on the road?"
"Of course I do. Leigh, I love you so much. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. And that includes going on tour with us. Will you?"
"Of course I will, if you want me to," Leigh said.
"I want you to," J.C. said, kissing Leigh's forehead before they both drifted off to sleep.
