Acknowledgements
People
My tutor and supervisor, Alan Harget, for constructive ideas and suggestions.
My parents, Doreen and Mark Horseman for proof-reading the site, many discussions/rants on design problems, and for paying the Internet bills!
Kirsty Muirhead for explanations of some of the Mathematics involved in the Boid simulation.
Web Sites
I obviously consulted all the websits mentioned in the links page, and one or two more besides! I especially drew on the Pseudocode for the boid simulation provided at http://www.nl.vergenet.net/~conrad/java/Boids/example.html.
A large number of the life patterns in the Game of Life simulation, and the classification of objects were taken from http://home.interserv.com/~mniemiec/lifeterm.htm.
