so much to talk about! yesterday i was unable to add an entry because our server was down all day...we couldn't get our emails or use icq or surf the net at all (can you tell i work really hard??) and of course there was no WORK to be done...it was the most boring day EVER! i haven't heard what happened, but i hope it doesn't happen again.
so on friday we went straight from work to the cinco de mayo bash.... it was really a great time. afterwards we were all talking about heading out to this little mexican restaurant and continuing the festivities - but we ended up staying put cuz they had a ton of beer left over. i got pretty drunk. it was nice to be able to sit outside all night and not get cold or eaten alive by bugs....i love warm mays!!
then paul stayed over cuz we had to go to that housewarming party of my friend's the next day. stopped at pier one on the way to pick up a little housewarming gift.. we were stupid and ate before we went which was a mistake cuz they had great food. (we ended up eating again anyway cuz we couldn't resist it) i was a bit hung over so i drank about 2 gallons of water. paul started drinking beers...i guess he wasn't feelin' like i was. it was nice to see their new house...really cute place. two great big garages - one that goes all the way through with two doors and leads to another behind it - i've never seen a setup like that before. we didn't know anyone, so we didn't stay real long.
then saturday night paul had some weed left over from his cabin trip - so we decided to get stoned together. we never have before and we've been wanting to. we act the same when we're high - it was funny. some people get real lazy and vegetative... but both p and i get real fidgety. we ended up tossing a ball back and forth forever - then we just rolled a barbell between us...weird stuff. i felt like i worked about about 1000 calories off in just a couple of hours. of course then i ruined it by eating everything in sight...paul's lucky, he doesn't get like that.
sunday i was supposed to go on a bikeride with mary and i completely spaced it. she was understanding though. paul and i went and saw "gladiator" at the theatre. paul's the one that really wanted to see it - but i was the one that really liked it. he was disappointed...although i'm not quite sure why. i thought it was fabulous. pretty gory though - so beware.
grace brought me some snails from her aquarium to keep in mine at work. she started out with a couple, and now they're overrunning her tank. i have three right now, i guess if they procreate a lot, i'll give them to this local fishstore that paul and i frequent.
