got free tickets to go see the timberwolves play last night...they slaughtered the houston rockets by 32 points. it was an annoying game though, because we're down on the first level, and we're always surrounded by lots of empty seats, which is nice...until about halfway into the first period when the people in the nose-bleeds inevitably come down and sit in front of us because they can see that the people who bought the seats aren't going to show.

last night it was this annoying woman and her twelve kids...okay, so there were only 5, i think, but they acted like twelve. so, i was irked for the remainder of the game, but I guess i can't complain too much, considering i got the tickets for free, right?

paul surprized me today by taking down the old wallpaper in his bathroom. we've been talking about doing some remodeling in his condo for what seems like ages and we've never really moved on it...so this weekend we're going to go get some paint and stuff, and get started on it...i'm pretty psyched!

i'm doing a favor for mary this weekend and feeding her cat, toby, while she's on a trip to oregon...i got a heads up from a mutual friend a little while ago...he said that mary's really into practical jokes on april fools day (which is tomorrow, so watch your asses), and he knows of one in particular that she uses nearly every year. and since i didn't know her last april fool's day, i'm the perfect candidate for this year's fool.

what she does, is tape the handle down on the spray nozzle on the kitchen sink, so that when you go to turn the faucet on, it gets you. apparently she's gotten a lot of people with this one, and they'd all like a little pay-back....so, i'm in charge of doing it to her, if she didn't already think to do it to me. of course, then i'll be on her black list for next year.......hmmmm........it's worth it.
