traffic report: an old woman turns right into a texaco station from the left lane...

an ugly electric blue pontiac cuts off the guy in front of me and then proceeds to leave his right blinker on for the next 2 miles.

the guy in front of me randomly decides to go into the fast lane for no apparent reason even though he is going an average of 10 miles slower than everyone else.

what in the hell would i write about if everyone else in the world wasn't such an idiot??? just kidding..i'm in a spunky mood today. the sun's been shining for two days now, and it just makes me a happy camper.

i can't believe it's almost april. spring is right around the corner...summer in minnesota is pretty awesome. just about every winter i swear i'm going to leave before the next one, and then summer comes and i remember why i love it here. so much green...and all those lakes. plus, everybody and their mom has a cabin somewhere. those are always a lot of fun, especially if they have a boat too.

p's family likes to water-ski. he's a pro at it...i haven't been since i was in junior high school...but i'm really excited to see if i still can. they have this beautiful a-frame cabin that i just love. it's one of the coolest ones i've been to. i've only been there once, and we've been trying to go up again ever since, but it never seems to work out. summers are better anyway. his dad goes ice fishing and stuff. now there's a sport i don't understand. it just doesn't seem like a whole heck of a lot of fun to me.

then again, i've never been much of any kind of fisherman. but, at least in the summer i can see some of the appeal. sitting out in a boat and drinking beers, enjoying nature. i just can't handle watching those poor fishies get hooked. i've heard over and over that they don't feel pain, but it still bothers me...especially if they swallow the hook. you can't tell me they don't feel that!
