wednesday - june fourteen, two thousand - 9:50am
you know you've got some nasty stuff when your own perfume is giving you a headache. i usually have good luck with the stuff from bath and body works, but this last one i bought doesn't sit well with me. i thought i liked it.... i even put it on and walked around the mall for a bit before i went back and bought it - to see how it smelled on ME... but i made a mistake, my nose must've been off that day. the good news is, it only cost $7 or something, so trashing it won't be a big deal.
it looks like my snails might be goin' at it again.... either that or they're both trying to get to the same piece of food. i'd better be careful, or my tank'll be overrun with little snails - a few are good, they keep it cleaner - but i'm sure it can be overdone.
paul and i discovered that no one in his family is going to the cabin this weekend. that means we can have it all to ourselves. that will be fun. i hope it's nice out, though. i don't want to be cooped up inside the whole time (or maybe i do : ). i want to go canoeing again. now there's one form of exercise i really enjoy.
it's funny, almost all of the journals i read on a regular basis seem to be losing interest in writing them - i wonder if they lose interest in reading them too. it might be the summer - people just have better things to do than sit inside on a computer all day, i guess. if it weren't for my job, i certainly wouldn't be able to update everday. the program i use rarely works well at home on a modem - i need to be here where we have a T1. i almost always have an extra half hour sometime during my workday to write an entry. i guess i'll have to be on the lookout for some new ones to read - maybe i'll check out that webring called 'frequent' - the journals in there have to update a minimum of 4 or 5 times a week.... i like that.
well - you may have notice i'm having trouble thinking of anything interesting to talk about, so i'm going to quit putting you to sleep and move on. later-
