Mr. Gallatin and his friends have graciously begun recording video interviews about their lives and the events they shaped or witnessed in the develpment of the United States.

On occasion, agents for Mr. Gallatin and his peers may provide interviews on how the 19th century issues faced by their alter egos play out in today's news stories.

These video interviews, or in less formal parlance, podcasts, are currently not being broadcast live. It was decided that it is important to review the recording quality and take the time to carefully add captioning for those who find it helpful. The captioning transcript will be the basis of the print version of the interview as it might have appeared in a newspaper or magazine of the early 1800s.

While the video is recorded, a separate audio recording is made of the interviews as both a back up to the audio track of the video, and for a compact disc for listening when watching or reading the interview is not an option.

The first video has been recorded and is currently in editing. The topic is the War of 1812 and the Treaty of Ghent which ended it. A notice will be posted on the home page and this page when it is available for viewing.

Arrangements are being made to have the video, audio and PDF copies available for subscriptions and on DVDs and CDs.
