MOTHER

My mother

lives in a humble

hut

in the countryside

in the company

of my brother,

my uncle,

my cousin,

her husband

and son.

When it's sunny

they have lunch

in the sun

outside the hut

but there are many bugs

and dust,

because of the mud.

It's more pleasant at dusk

Mother's

funny,

plump,

and has a bulging

bust.

Though mum

is still young,

she's rather clumsy

and wears a bun,

but

she's lovely.

She cooks tasty buns

with raisins and plums

in the oven

made of mud.

She looks after us

with care and love

She also breeds ducks

and doves.

My uncle's

a busker

and a juggler.

On Sundays

he plays the trumpet

and busks.

Sometimes

he works as a dummy

but

he spends too much,

so he never has enough

money

and has to busk.

When he's grumpy

either grumbles

or grunts.

Luckily,

he comes

home once

a month.
