JULY 28, 2002

In the morning Landsea Tours picked up us (and our luggage) at our hotel for a morning tour of Vancouver.  Our first stop took us to Stanley Park, to view the totem poles.
We enjoyed the view of Lion's Gate Bridge from Prospect Park.  Later that evening we cruised under this bridge as we left the city on our cruise ship.  Our tour also included stops at Granville Island and Queen Elizabeth Park.
A elevator ride to the top of the Harbour Centre Tower gives a perfect view of our cruise ship, the Dawn Princess, in port at Canada Place.  A short time later we were dropped off to board the ship!
Rick, Heather, Gail, Maritza, and Jane enjoy the view from on deck in Vancouver Harbor.  We spent the afternoon exploring the ship.

Around 5:30 the Dawn Princess departed from the docks at Canada Place.  We could see the skyline of Vancouver, including the circular Harbour Centre Tower that we had gone up during the morning.
