AUGUST 7, 2002

Late in the afternoon we arrived in Homer, Alaska.  From our B&B we had a great view of the Homer Spit (the thin finger of land sticking into the water).
Our Bed and Breakfast, Halcyon Heights, was located up the mountain with great views.  We enjoyed the gardens and fountains, and the hot tub that overlooked the mountains and glaciers!

We spent part of the evening on the Homer Spit, checking out the shops, eating, and licking ice cream cones.

We enjoyed seeing the fishing charters that would display the day's catch of halibut.  Now that's what I call a fish!
