AKLAN DISTRICT UNIT SCOUTER OF THE YEAR AWARD
What is it? Every year Packs, Crews and Troops in the Aklan District honor an individual who they think has contributed the most to their unit. That person is honored at our district dinner. This year the dinner is Saturday March 20, 2004. 6:30pm Location, yet to be confirmed - most likely the Lafayette/Orinda Presbyterian Church on Knox Rd., Lafayette. The cost is $20 per person. Resevations are being accepted now. Units are encouraged to cover the cost of their honoree and spouse.
There are several payment options: 1. you may pay in person at the Council office 2. have the money deducted from your unit's account 3. credit card, or 4. mail to council, (note - if you mail the payment please email or call Sherry Nolan, 473-5433, and tell her you've done so.
When you pay please do the following:
1. get a double reciept
2. Make reservation BEFORE NOON 3/10/04.
If for some reason you are unable to make the 3/10/04 deadline, we will accept payment at the door if you have prearranged with Sherry Nolan before 3/15/04.
What do we need to do to nominate someone? Simply cut, paste and fill out the information below and send to Sherry Nolan, Activities & Civic Service Chair, by March 1, 2004.
