Little did he and his twin sister know of what was really going on with the Mikage family. Aki was locked away with relatives, unable to see his sister, entire family and normal life breaking down. Aki is the direct descendent of the man who, long ago and as the storys told, took the ancient tennyo's hagoromo. Scars that appeared all over his body proved so, the same marks made upon that man in his death by the tennyos hands. And after he discovers Kagami could 'help' him recall that man's memories, he can return the robe to the tennyo that resides in his twin sister, and they could go back to being a normal family again.
But as the experiments started, it slowly drove the boy insane. The descendent's personality slowly started to surface, causing Aki to believe he was actually falling in love with his sister [ because Mikagi sees Aya and Ceres as the same person, as does Ceres with Mikagi and Aki, thank gawd it was just Mikagi driving him insane tho XD It would be freaky ]. And soon enough, Aki lost to the insanity and 'slept' deep within his soul, letting Mikagi [ or Shiso as everyone calls him XD ] take control of the body.
