Modem
|
A device that enables a computer to communicate over analog networkuing such as connecting the internet via telephone lines.
Wireless modem: modem that connects to the serial port but does not connect to telephone lines. It receives through the air.

A device that connects multiple network together ; routes packets to their next location in order to efficiently reach their destination.

Switch

A device used to connect multiple devices in a single network , forward packets to only intended recipient.

A device on a network that connects wireless devices to that network .

The device that provide a common central connection point for nodes on network.

An adapter card that connect a computer to a network.
Wireless network interface card : An expansion card throgh which a computer can connect to the network that provides wireless data transmission
