In today's economy, it is just as important to be able to sell technological ideas as to make them. While business school is still not the most common path for EE Engineers, the popularity of a management degree as conduits to higher salaries, faster promotions and greater management and marketing skills has been growing.
For people transitioning into more managerial roles, skills in marketing, finance and human resources have become omnipotent. These ideas lead us to include a session, Au Courant, dedicated to management skills at the AISC 2002. Being a meeting of would-be and current technocrats, a glimpse of the facets of management would be a rewarding experience and would enable the delegates at the conference update with the latest trends in management.
