Welcome to my cyberpunk lounge, your first stop for real-world shadowruns!! yes there are hacker tools availiable from this site, and if your real good you can load this whole toolset into PENTESTBOX W/METASPLOIT running in a Windows enviroment. but i would recommend setting up BLACKARCH as your base operating system.
Just in case you didnt know: Blackarch is a variation on an OS called Arch linux, the system base code is very different from any other linux systems you may be familiar with.
The best aspect of Blackarch is how compact you can get your build to run, However there is a lot that doesnt come with your inital system setup, so if you are not familiar or uncomftable with actually having to load your own visual interface from code,you may come across issues
furthermore, even if you have used other linux systems such as Ubuntu you may still have issues with ARCH, but please take the time to look at all the info google and the arch wiki can offer, in the long run using an arch linux system comes better security, and way better performance on old machines that may have came factory installed with Windows XP.
As for newer machines currently I run my Blackarch OS at less than 400 MB ram. My machine has 8GB physical memory, so I am able to run multiple virtual machines while still running a stable base OS for a low memory cost.
LIVE INSTALL ---> Download disc image, dd to prefered media type (usb, cd, or mount to virtual machine)
[BLACKARCH INSTALL] NETINSTALL
NETINSTALL ---> Follow same as above, but be sure your machine is capable of network connections and internet ready (if internet is not availiable then use LIVE install iso)
