YBhg Prof Dato' Dr Hj Abdul Murad Ahmad, fondly call by Dato' Murad by people close to him has established the Foundation in the year of 1988. Born and has always been living in Negeri Sembilan all his life, he has been involved in business world for more than 33 years, aside to that he has also keep himself busy in the corporate and political arena. Passionate to help people and obliging to the social responsibilities, he setup Murad Foundation on the 27th January 1988 aiming and planning various charitable activities for the Malaysian in general, and the people in Negeri Sembilan specifically. At early stage, his focus was to develop the poor orphans to become independent by providing a hostel, proper education and guidance to them. So far he has been very successful doing that for the last 19 years where about 400 orphans has become independent through the guidance of Murad Foundation.
Zahar - help to manage the activities and managing the Foundation.
Wati - assisting in public relations
Ms. Wong - "the money lady" keep our accounting book clean and up-to-date.
Raimy - Supervisor for the orphanage home (boy)...Abang Raimy called by the kids.
Ros - Supervisor for the orphanage home (girl), "Mak Lang" called by the kids.
All the orphans call Dato' Murad as "Ayah"
Abang Raimy currently active becoming aerobic instructor.
Mak Lang not only look after the girls but cook for both the boys and the girls
We have one kid whom do not have both parents and has HIV...all kids love him and treated him the same.
