A productive province committed in the establishment of climate change resiliency of communities and management of disaster risk reduction thus improving the quality of life of Southern Agusanons specially the indigenous people.
An Agri-Industrialized and Eco-Tourism province of God-centered, caring, healthy, productive and self-sustaining communities.
1. To increase income and productivity thru agri-industrialization and eco-tourism;
2. To improve access to quality and sustainable social services;
3. To enhance the financial management systems and procedures for increase in revenue generation, effective allocation and utilization of resources;
4. To improve strategic alignment;
5. To enhance and enforce policies and legislative measures
The predominant religion is Roman Catholicism with 79% of the population. Other religions include the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Aglipay, Iglesia ni Cristo, United Pentecostal Church, Born Again and the United Church of Christ in the Philippines and also Islam.
Cebuano is dominantly spoken followed by Boholano and Illongo. Of the native tongues, Manobo dialect is the most popular. Other popular dialects are the Hiligaynon, Butuanon, Surigaonon and Kamayo.
