Epilogue

Taylor smirked at Alexa as she walked in the door of the clinic. "Somebodys in a good mood this afternoon."

Alexa tried to mask at least a little bit of the smile that seemed plastered on her face, but she couldnt do it. Instead she nodded at her friend. "Very good."

"Oooh, I like the sound of that, gimme some details." Taylor rested her elbow on the desk top, and put her chin in her palm, looking expectantly at Alexa.

"Not now, maybe later." She started past the desk, when Taylor called her back.

"Alexa, dont you do that to me. Tell me something." Alexa rolled her eyes, and waved her hand dismissively. "Come on, Lex. I know the Boys left for the Bahamas, you should be all sad and lonely."

Alexa grinned again, and shook her head as she turned toward her office.

"Im gonna find out eventually, you know." The phone rang beside Taylor and she picked it up, hesitantly, giving herself time to put on a professional tone of voice. "Good afternoon,..." She didnt have the chance to finish her usual greeting, "Wait, what? Hold on, shes right here." Taylor stepped out from behind the desk, and called down the hall, "Alexa! Phone, right away. It sounds urgent." Taylor grabbed Alexas arm she came back, shoving the phone into her hand. Leaning closer, she whispered, "Its AJ."

Alexa looked at Taylor in confusion for a second before putting the phone up to her ear. "Hey baby, whats going on? ... Hold on, youre talking too fast, slow down. I cant understand you... what?" She paused for a second, "Ohmigawd! Nick? It cant.... No!"
