Ownership: WANs have no ownership. Type of WAN (Wide Area Network) Enterprise Private Network (EPN) Virtual Private Network (VPN) Enterprise Private Network (EPN) Type of networks built by an enterprise to interconnect various company sites, e.g, production sites, head offices, shops, in order to share computer resources. Virtual Private Network (VAN) Private secure path over the Internet that provide authorized users such a secure means of accessing a private network via the Internet.
