Rob: The temple is full of butterflies without form, just colour and motion. They begin to merge. Now there is just one enormous butterfly in the centre of the temple above the altar. It regards us, its proboscis flickering. I sense intelligence. We are going to ride on its back.

It flaps very slowly, its wings ripple, but its swift motion is effortless. I see below us what look like light bulbs. Very large glass spheres lit from within.

We approach a mountain peak, on top is another temple. I know that there will be monks within.

Barry: Above the tower I can see superimposed in the clouds above the huge face of a bearded man. From his mouth pour forth streams of light, like water. The temple is surrounded by this flow. Its body is the mountain below. A bell within the temple strikes almost the heart of the figure.

Rob: We now stand on the mountain. The butterfly has shrunk to our size. I can see the bell. It is made of bronze. And has two thick bands of ornamentation and carvings. As we move nearer I see that the stream around the temple is a living stream of people of the air in constant motion. If we try to go through them we will be caught up and cast into the net. Can you make yourself thin, less solid? That is the way through.

Barry: You appear next to me as a long blue pillar of light.

Rob: I can now pass beyond.

You flicker and also become a dark green pillar of light.

Barry: Your thoughts issue from the pillar like an electric charge.

Rob: We pass through untouched by the air creatures. A door opens for us. It is utterly still and silent. It is old. This temple contains a treasure. The door closes. The light is low level, but you can see. Before us is an old man. He is bald and looks oriental, he wears a saffron robe.

He smiles through large yellow teeth. He nods and we must follow him further into the temple. I can see monks in attitudes of prayer. We are led to a small chamber at the top of a downward turning stairwell.

A blue light flickers from somewhere below. We descend, making no noise at all. There is just complete silence. The stairs go down a long way. We come to a door. The monk opens a door. There is a bright blue light. We move through to a vast area. This place contains something we have been looking for.

We have come one way to reach the Akashic records. But there is a catch for we have not come the way that allows us to read them yet. Also it is not sufficient for us to want to see them for their own sake.

Before us appears a long trumpet with a scroll wrapped around it.

Barry: I am presented with a small silver bell. It is inscribed with four faces at opposing sides. The bell strikes and I see the ripple of sound from the bell. The bell is an aspect of myself and means true ideals. It shows that I have not one goal but many emanating out from me in a sphere. The bells tone is not clear, but discordant.

Rob: The trumpet must not be sounded or its notes would herald the end of a cycle. Upon the scroll are words that describe an existence. Each of our words has a life. The pages of a book are earth of air and may be released at a glance.

To truly realise this element we must learn to speak from it. People use words uncaringly, like an endless stream. We must transform ourselves to the essence of our dreams to enter the silence of the temple. Then we can speak that which is I Am That I Am.

Barry: The ripples of the bell are interfered with. They meet other ripples and cannot reflect back. Pulsating. The monks also all have bells, and are looking(?) for crystal (unclear) their laws. One to be strong even(?) aught to brush aside the waves. (More unclear).

Note: Unfortunately what was said here was very unclear when transcribed, and italics are used to indicate either an educated guess or that what was said cannot be made out.

Rob: There is a low hum in the temple. It seems the bell smoothes them out. Discord vanishes to be replaced by pure sound and then by silence.

The old monk guides us out. We follow him and as we ascend the discord has stopped. We reach the chamber and the butterfly. We are on its back again, and we are soon back in the Air Temple.
