Photographer
A sports photographer from The Image Gallery will be present during the event and photographs captured will be available for purchase by participants in the competition as prints (in various sizes), and on VCDs (for display through DVD equipment).

Photographs that would be taken are those of competitors while competing in the event, medal presentations at the conclusion of the events and miscellaneous images that capture the atmosphere of the competition.

So please "say cheese" for Charles!

Entries are fully subscribed
Organisers are thrilled to announce that 123 entries have been confirmed for the 12th National Indoor Archery Championships.  Chairman, Tom Jorgensen said, "It's a vindication for all the effort to date... although it is getting easier to organise each year.  Mind you, any more entries and we would have been in trouble.  The venue can only accommodate 135 if we squeeze up the shooting positions and to go to a fourth flight didn't bear thinking about, in terms of finishing each day at a reasonable hour!"

Archers are advised target allocations are pending and should be known in the next few days.  In addition, please note, the competitor number previously allocated during the intial registration process will possibly change and archers need not be unduly concerned.

ARCHERY ACADEMY On Board Again
In conjunction with HoytUSA, ARCHERY ACADEMY is again the principal sponsor for the Australian Indoor Nationals renewing links with National Championships going back to the "dim Dark Ages".  However, there will be nothing dark about these Nationals with a shiny 2004 Hoyt bow of the winner's choosing on offer in a raffle to be drawn on the Saturday night.  Raffle tickets will be hawked around the place as soon as they can be printed so look out for them.

And just a reminder about entries - you can pay by credit card and entries close 20th April - avoid disappointment and don't be late!

Committee Formed
A meeting of interested persons was held and the new Committee constituted.  The Committee comprises essentially the same people as last year's highly successful event.  Committee Chairman is Tom Jorgensen; Bruce Lang is Secretary/Treasurer, Joe Vardon will be handling equipment and Carol Ashlee will be responsible for medals/awards, etc.
