Thomas and Maria Adams raised their family on the farm directly opposite Mosport Park, Orono, Darlington Township, [now Clarington] Ontario.
The sons were well known for their soccer playing. The three eldest boys, Joe, Fred, and Al, played on the Leskard Team. The trophy their team won throughout the years, 1899, 1900, and 1901, is on display in the Clarke Museum, Orono, Ontario.
