JOHN ADAMS (1812 - 1832)
1. First child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, John Adams, was born February 1, 1812, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died June 29, 1832, Haldimand Township, Ontario at the age of 20. He is the first person to be buried in Gilliland Cemetery, Haldimand Township, Ontario, Canada. Thomas and Isabella Adams' youngest child, Isabella, died in 1834 and might be buried there as well. |  |
ANN ADAMS RANSON (1814 - 1894)
2. Second child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Ann Adams, was born June 1, 1814, County Monaghan, Ireland. She died July 5, 1894, Minden, Ontario, at the age of 80.
She married Robert RANSON on November 6, 1838, in Cobourg, Ontario and are buried at Minden Village Cemetery, Minden, Ontario. They had a family of four children: |  |
THOMAS ADAMS (1815 - 1816)
3. Third child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Thomas Adams, was born October 22, 1815, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died June 14, 1816, at the age of 7 months. He is buried in County Monaghan, Ireland.
JAMES ADAMS (1817 - 1908)
4. Fourth child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, James Adams, was born May 15, 1817, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died November 5, 1908, Tiny Township, Ontario, at the age of 91.
On October 31, 1843, in Cobourg, Ontario he married Jane ENGLISH, and had a family of ten children:
James and Jane Adams lived in Cartwright Township for the first few years of their marriage. They later settled in Wyebridge, Ontario. They are buried in Wyebridge Presbyterian Cemetery.
ROBERT ADAMS (1819 - 1887)
5. Fifth child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Robert Adams, was born December 18, 1819, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died August 5, 1887, Clarke Township, Ontario at the age of 67.
In 1840 he married Jane PATTERSON and had a family of twelve children:
MARY JANE ADAMS MOTTON (1821 - 1892)6. Six child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Mary Jane Adams, was born October 22, 1821, County Monaghan, Ireland. She died April 16, 1892, Cobourg, Ontario, at the age of 70. In 1837, she married William MOTTON and farmed in the Cobourg, Ontario area. They had one child:
William and Mary Jane Motton are buried at Cobourg Union Cemetery, in Cobourg, Ontario.
SARAH ADAMS MUIRHEAD (1823 - 1880)7. Seventh child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Sarah Adams, was born May 7, 1823, County Monaghan, Ireland. She died January 22, 1880, Haldimand Twp., Ontario, at the age of 66. In 1844, she married John MUIRHEAD and farmed in the Haldimand Twp., Ontario area. They had a family of five children:
John and Sarah Muirhead are buried at Baltimore United Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., Ontario.
MARGARET ADAMS LINTON (1825 - 1898)
8. Eighth child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Margaret Adams, was born August 28, 1825, County Monaghan, Ireland. She died May 15, 1898, Mayfield Township, Lapeer County, Michigan, U.S., at the age of 72. She married Thomas LINTON, November 25, 1850 in Haldimand Township, Ontario and had four children:

9. Nineth child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Thomas Adams, was born October 22, 1827, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died April 13, 1901, Haldimand Township, Ontario at the age of 75.

McBRIDE ADAMS (1829 - 1904)
10. Tenth child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, McBride Adams, was born August 20, 1829, County Monaghan, Ireland. He died September 17, 1904, at the age of 75. About 1850 he married Martha McINTYRE and had a family of seven children:

11. Eleventh child of Thomas ADAMS and Isabella McBRIDE, Isabella Adams, was born June 11, 1833, Haldimand Township, Ontario. She died May 20, 1834, Haldimand Township, Ontario.
